EU Project: Eu-Sol Tomato Seeds
Eu-Sol Tomato Seeds are a FREE SCHOOLS RESSOURCE funded by the European Union which help school pupils learn about genetics. The seeds are currently being grown and will be sent out in time for December 2010.
By growing the seeds you can quickly observe characteristics that help how dominant and recessive traits are passed from one generation to the next. It is also possible to submit the results of growing the seeds on to an internet spreadsheet and compare them to data submitted by pupils from all over Europe. You and your school can be part of a cross continental experiment.
