This year’s symposium is called “Immunotherapy: The Cutting Edge of Stem Cell Applications”  and will shine a light on a subset of stem cell therapies that are currently being applied in the clinic.

  • Differences between umbilical and placental stem cells – Can either be used for therapy?
  • How realistic is immune therapy for cancer?
  • How can we keep cancer from coming back after a bone marrow transplant?
  • Cell therapy for diabetes? How close are we?
  • If you can donate blood you can donate a cancer therapy – It‘s all in your genes!
  • What is „state-of-the-art“ in cell therapy for immune disorders? The clinical perspective.
