SILVER MEDAL FOR THE MASTER STUDENTS OF BIOTEC
A team of master students of BIOTEC have reason to celebrate: The study lasting for months for the iGEM student competition at the MIT in Boston was honored by the silver medal in November. iGEM – international Genetically Engineered Machine – is a student competition on the field of synthetic biology. Student teams would get access to a kit of biological components and use them and genetic components designed by themselves for the construction of biological machines in living cells.
