ROSSENDORF: FZD AWARDS PRESENTED BY SCIENCE MINISTER
At the annual reception hosted by the FZD Rossendorf Research Center in Dresden on January 25, FZD scientists received awards for outstanding scientific achievements in 2009 from Sabine von Schorlemer, Saxony’s Minister of Science and the Arts. The FZD prizes were awarded in four categories – and the winners carry out research into superconducting semiconductors, pulsed magnetic fields, techniques for nanostructuring surfaces, science communication, and radiopharmacology.
