TOPPING-OUT CEREMONY AT CENTER FOR REGENERATIVE THERAPIES IN DRESDEN: NEW HOME FOR RESEARCHERS TAKES SHAPE!
“Saxony’s scientists are exploring new paths and intend to make the incurable curable,” declared Minister of Finance Prof. Georg Unland at the end of April at the topping-out ceremony for the new building for the Center for Regenerative Therapies in Dresden. In line with tradition, the festivities were attended by builders along with representatives of the Ministry of Science, Dresden University of Technology and state-owned real estate company SIB. Prof. Unland added: “By investing about €45 million, we are creating the facilities required for the only excellence cluster so far in eastern Germany. We are hence supporting one of Germany’s most research-intensive universities and reinforcing Saxony’s position as a center of science.”
