New ideas are cost and time consuming. Biotechnology companies invest many years of intensive research and development activities to develop an idea into a marketable product.
Focus of the promotion was and is the foundation of new companies as well as establishment of branches of top biomedical research companies and complementary Life Science companies in Saxony as well as an application-oriented technology transfer. The direct conversion of research results into marketable products and services is thus ensured in an optimum manner.
Consultation Offices and Promotional Programs
The EU, the federal government and the federal states support companies with a wide range of sponsoring programs. The biotechnology industry has priority in the federal state of Saxony. A support model tailor-made for small and medium-sized biotechnology companies was prepared in addition to the general sponsoring programs. Grants or participations are possible depending on the plans and the objective of the sponsoring.
biosaxony provides support in the selection of suitable sponsoring offices and in the communication with investors and Business Angels in the federal state and beyond.
