ABSAGE: Summer School Biotransformations 2020

Unfortunately, we have to inform you that we have decided to cancel the Summer School Biotransformations 2020 in view of the current developments regarding the spread of coronavirus. To secure the health of our guests and employees is our top priority and we are taking it very seriously. We very much regret the cancellation and are currently examining the possibility of postponing the Summer School Biotransformations to a later date. We will publish updated information in due time.

The Summer School Biotransformations is an established multi-day event with the declared goal of bringing together young scientists and leading experts from academia and industry.

Knowledge about new topics and developments in the field of biocatalysis will be presented in lectures. In silico discovery and modeling, synthetic biology, directed evolution, rational protein design or PET degradation are some keywords from the teaching programme.

Speakers will stay at least for one night to enable an intensive exchange and discussion among all participants about scientific topics and career opportunities.

PhD students and post-docs have to contribute a poster and a one page abstract in English presenting their work. Posters will be presented in "2 minute speed lectures" as a part of the official scientific programme and will also be discussed during poster sessions.
